Si laurea in Architettura nel 1984 presso il Politecnico e parte per gli Stati Uniti dove lavora presso gli Studi Cèsar Pelli e Skidmore Owing & Merril. Dal 1991 è partner dello studio, Architects - G.M.M. Consultat & Associates a New York specializzato in realizzazioni residenziali, commerciali e uffici. Nel 1986 apre a Milano lo studio Micotti Architettura, impegnato in progetti nel campo turistico a Cuba, Colombia e Kenya.

Lo Studio Micotti Architettura si è stabilito a Milano nel 1986.

Con una esperienza professionale in ambito internazionale, lo Studio segue esteticamente e filosoficamente la tradizione modernista e lavora con scrupolosità ed attenzione con i clienti, per soddisfare i Loro desideri e interessi.    Crediamo  fortemente che ogni progetto debba essere  condotto nello stesso modo, sia dal cliente sia  dall'architetto, i progetti migliori sono prodotti indubbiamente di grande collaborazione. Diamo grande risalto ed interesse all'uso espressivo e creativo dei materiali anche secondo  l'influenza del luogo, sia fisico che sociologico, nonché all'espressione della forma e dello spazio. L’attività dello Studio si articola operando, sia come studio di progettazione architettonica, sia    costruttivo,    con esperienza diretta sui luoghi di esecuzione dei lavori, riuscendo ad ottenere con una sempre maggior sensibilità,   un contributo molto accurato sulla realizzazione dei progetti stessi. La nostra efficacia e forza, insiste nel modo di progettare, ed è comunque sempre rivolta alla reale edificabilità e costruzione. La filosofia dello studio, con anni di esperienza, è  a conoscenza di una vasta gamma di materiali, ed in grado di poter conferire ai   progetti architettonici un'attenzione unica e degna di nota, rivolta soprattutto al particolare, sia decorativo sia strutturale sia cromatico, con alta espressione del dettaglio artigianale.

My career as an Architect ( www.micotti.it) has developed over thirty years years, Through my profession I had the chance to specialize and work in some increasingly complex and multi-cultural projects and with their staffs at international levels. I have experience in: strategic forward-planning; operating within the tight financial disciplines imposed by ambitious budgets which I have helped to plan; methodical administration to deadlines, and the application of modern leadership methods (through staff motivation and involvement in both decision - making and target-setting, clarity in communication, and easy personal inter - relations).My own cosmopolitan background and analytical interests in other cultures, together with a command of several European languages, has made me capable in handling negotiations that require the reconciliation of different national approaches to common construction and architecture problems.

G.M.M. provides comprehensive services for facilities and infrastructure projects worldwide. Founded in 1986, in Milan and continually operating consulting engineering firms in Italy and the United States.

 

We provide a full range of engineering, architecture, planning, program management and construction management services for clients in the public and private sectors. Our projects range in size and scope from simple studies and assessments to complex   multidisciplinary efforts. Since its founding, G.M.M.  has completed many of infrastructure projects involving the full range of project phases – from initial feasibility studies, through preliminary and detailed design, to overall project and construction management.
